Product Description
Ingwaz is the 22th rune of the Futhark. The Elder Futhark is the oldest form of the runic alphabets. It was a writing system used by Germanic peoples in the Migration Period (roughly 300-800 AD). Ingwaz describes an inner fire that lies dormant in every human being. In Norse mythology, the Ingwaz Rune is considered to be an important symbol of fertility, prosperity, and new beginnings.
For our Ingwaz Rune Ring, Rob set the Ingwaz rune in the center of a slightly oval frame with a bead on each side of the rune. Each side of the ring has a curved frame with 2 beads and an S-curve design. This mixed metal version features the rune symbol and 2 side beads in gold.
This is one of our larger rings, it is suitable for anyone who likes a heavier, wider ring. It measures just under 1/2 inch at the top and narrows to 1/4 inch at the back.
