Grian mean sun in Irish and Scots-Gaelic. It is also the name of an ancient Celtic goddess of the sun, associated with summer, warmth and agriculture. The Grian starts with an elongated twist shape that widens into a smooth pear-shaped loop at the bottom with a suspended triskele inside.
The Grian Triskele Pendant measures just under 1 1/2 inches long and just over 1/2 inch wide. An adjustable sterling silver chain is included, please see the photos above for instructions if needed. We've also included the option to switch to a heavier chain, in a variety of lengths, at no additional cost. Matching earrings are available.
