Product Description
We love these unique tourmalines! A parti-color tourmaline forms when the chemical composition of the hydrothermal fluid changes during crystal growth, causing different colors to develop in the same crystal, often appearing as distinct zones or bands of color within the stone like this. Inclusions in tourmalines are natural imperfections, primarily fluid-filled tubes, liquid and gas bubbles, mineral crystals, and hollow tubes, which are trapped during the gem's formation. While sometimes seen as flaws, inclusions also add to a gem's unique character.
