All R.E. Piland pieces retire after 2-3 years, to ensure their collectability and make way for new pieces. When they're gone, they're gone! However, if you waited too long, or if you see a piece here that is sold out and you want one, feel free to reach out to us. Rob sometimes has extra silver castings that weren't used or we may be able to suggest a similar piece. Rob will also cast retired pieces to replace lost items for original owners and will consider requests to complete a set (you own the pendant but now want the coordinating earrings for example) or if you own a retired piece in silver but want to upgrade to gold.
Because we also sell our jewelry at shows most weekends, there is always the possibility that an item may sell out before we are able to update the website. If this does happen, we will contact you through email the Monday or Tuesday following the show to inform you. We can cancel your order and refund your money or do an exchange for an in stock piece. In some situations we may be able to fulfill your order with additional time. We will let you know your options.
*All photographs of gemstone pieces on this page are of the actual pieces still available. We may photoshop the stone into a different photo (usually this occurs with gemstone rings where the remaining size doesn't fit the model's hand) but it is still the actual stone you will receive. We try to use a variety of lighting to show the gem color. We are always happy to send additional photos upon request.*
