Tanzanite is the violet blue to blue violet variety of the mineral Zoisite. It is mined commercially only in one area of the world: the Merelani Hills of Tanzania, which is where it gets its name. Its natural inclusions contribute to its beauty, adding ethereal sparkle while accentuating the gem's violet undertones.
Rob created this pendant in sterling silver & 14kt yellow gold, using a modified silver retired Erce with 2 gold bead accents, above a 6.85ct (11mm) round Tanzanite cabochon in a gold bezel. The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. A sterling chain is included, you can choose your desired length in the drop down menu.
