Rob has been very inspired by viking ships lately. Dreki or Dragonships were large longships that had carved heads of dragons mounted on their stem, as a visual message about the owner's status. They were ships for chieftains and kings.
The Dreki Pendant is made from a teardrop shaped frame of twisted wire with a dragonhead ship inside the frame, sitting atop waves. The ship is detailed with an oar, a line of targe shields on the side, a full billowing sail and mast with flags. The top of the pendant has 2 more dragon heads facing outward.
The Dreki Pendant measures just over 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. Rob has created 2 mixed metal versions- this one has the top and ship in gold.
